Canterbury Whitewater Club Constitution

The Canterbury Whitewater Club is an incorporated society and has a constitution (or Rules of the Club) that determines what Members can expect of the club and what they need to comply with.

Code of Conduct

This code lays out expectations for Members on and off the water.

Code of Practice

This code provides expectations for Members on what's needed to promote safe and enjoyable whitewater activities while still allowing high levels of personal challenge and fun. 

Guidelines for Members at Committee meetings

This document provides guidelines for Club Members attending a committee meeting.  Committee meetings are open to any Member by prior arrangement and Members are encouraged to attend.

Procedures for formal complaints by Members

This bylaw describes procedures for Members who want to raise an issue or make a complaint to the Club.

Incident reporting

As a club, we want to do what we can to minimise risks. As such, we are keen to document any incidents that occur on club trips so we can identify any repeated incidents and learn from these to improve future safety.

The following form is designed to be filled out by anyone who was directly involved with or witnessed an incident. We encourage multiple submissions from different people for any given incident.
